Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and within the framework of activating the university's plan during the mid-year vacation, and with the aim of enhancing cultural awareness among young people and encouraging them to read and learn, the Education and Students Sector organized a visit to the 56th Cairo International Book Fair under the slogan: "Read... In the beginning was the word", whose cultural activities will be held from January 24 to February 5.
The visit included a large number of students from the University Student Union and the Students for Egypt family. The visit was met with great turnout from students, as a large number of students from different faculties participated in it. Students visited the pavilions of various publishing houses, viewed the latest publications, and participated in seminars and lectures held on the sidelines of the exhibition.
The students confirmed that this visit was a wonderful opportunity to learn about the latest books and publications, and to acquire what suits them from them, as it contributed to developing their cultural awareness and increasing their knowledge.
The students also expressed their appreciation to Ain Shams University for organizing this visit, stressing that it was a useful and enjoyable experience.
