An exhibition of the chief engineer of the royal palaces during the reign of King Fuad at the Zaafaran Museum

Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, an exhibition of the works of Italian architect Ernesto Verrucci was opened at the Zaafaran Museum. This event is part of the museum's cultural and educational role, aiming to raise archaeological awareness among students and visitors. The exhibition is supervised by Prof. Mamdouh El-Damaty, the general supervisor of the Zaafaran Museum and former Minister of Antiquities.

Dr. Wala' El-Din Badawy explained that the exhibition is being hosted in collaboration with the Italian Institute of Archaeology in Cairo, at the Zaafaran Museum at Ain Shams University, from January 30 to February 28, 2020. The exhibition, organized in coordination with the Italian Cultural Institute for Archaeology in Cairo, will showcase images of the works of architect Verrucci, the chief engineer of royal palaces during the reign of King Fuad. It aims to introduce students and faculty staff at Ain Shams University to the significant and unique buildings created by the Italian architect.
