Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, the Faculty of Law qualified for the knockout rounds (round 32) in the sixth edition of the International Commercial Arbitration Competition organized by the Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration with the participation of 121 universities from around the world and more than 18 Egyptian universities scheduled to be held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Prof. Mohamed Safi, Dean of the Faculty of Law, confirmed that this qualification is the result of the great efforts made by the faculty team and its students participating in the competition, as the team members demonstrated a high level of professionalism in preparing legal memoranda and presenting oral pleadings.
This competition is one of the most prominent international events in the field of commercial arbitration, as it provides an educational and competitive platform that allows students to develop their legal skills and enhance their understanding of dispute resolution mechanisms.
In this regard, Prof. Mohamed Safi, Dean of the Faculty, received the Faculty team that qualified for the finals of the competition, accompanied by Prof. Hossam Al-Attar, Director of the English Program at the Faculty and the team’s supervisor, where he expressed to them the Faculty’s pride in this achievement, stressing the Faculty’s continuous support for its students in various academic and professional competitions, and urging the team to prepare to continue its journey in the competition, and strive to achieve advanced positions in the coming stages.
