Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, the activities of the 25th Pediatric Conference launched, in the presence of Prof. Ali El-Anwar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals, Prof. Tarek Youssef, Executive Director of University Hospitals, Prof. Hala Sweid, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Rania Salah, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Students Affairs, Prof. Howayda El-Gebali, Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Childhood, Prof. Yasmine Gamal, Director of the Children's Hospital, Prof. Hanan Mohamed Ibrahim, Head of the Department of Pediatrics and Chairman of the Conference, and Dr. Mustafa El-Hedhed, Professor of Pediatrics.

The conference aimed to discuss the latest scientific developments and modern technologies in the field of pediatrics, with a focus on important health issues including short stature, obesity, malnutrition, immune diseases, and strokes in children.
The conference also reviewed the latest interventional treatments such as cardiac catheterization, gastrointestinal endoscopy, organ transplantation, and bone marrow transplantation to treat blood and immune diseases.
The conference also discussed the role of artificial intelligence in the medical field, in addition to reviewing the latest scientific research that contributes to the development of diagnostic and treatment methods.

Sessions were also allocated for medical graduates from the Faculty of Medicine, who are interns, to present their ideas and proposals, which contributes to enhancing their role in developing the medical system.
The conference witnessed distinguished participation from nursing staff members, as the sessions addressed the latest methods of infection control and dealing with critical cases for children.
There was also a strong presence from the clinical pharmacy sector, which discussed important topics such as intravenous nutrition, optimal use of antibiotics, and drug treatment strategies for children.
The conference confirmed Ain Shams University's keenness to provide everything new and promising in the field of pediatrics, by reviewing the latest medical treatments and technologies, which enhances the quality of healthcare provided to young patients, and opens new horizons for improving medical services.
