In continuation of Ain Shams University's enlightened vision and its constant keenness to increase awareness and raise the national sense among students and raise their cultural and scientific level, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, the first forum for student unions at Ain Shams University concluded its activities that lasted for five days in the Youth City in Sharm El-Sheikh. The forum was generously hosted by the Faculty of Business Students Union under the supervision of Prof. Khaled Kadry, Dean of the Faculty, in cooperation with the Education and Students Sector - Families and Student Unions Administration.

At the beginning of the opening session, Mr. Sameh Awadallah, the executive coordinator of the forum, thanked the education and students sector for its unlimited sponsorship and support for Ain Shams University students in all activities. He also thanked the university administration for providing all the necessary capabilities and overcoming any difficulties to carry out the activities in the best possible way to prepare leaders.
The forum aims to prepare student cadres that contribute to raising the nation, with the participation of 304 male and female students representing student union councils from all faculties of the university. They are trained to make the student’s role more effective, through developing personal skills among students, including leadership, teamwork, communication, presentation, and planning skills, in addition to solving problems, making decisions, and coordinating means of cooperation between all faculties union councils, which always makes Ain Shams University a leader in the field of student activities. The training was conducted by leader Ahmed Atef.

Student Wissam Khaled, head of the University Students Union, expressed her happiness to participate in the first Student Unions Forum, hoping that the forum would yield great benefit for the participating students. Student Mohammed Mansour also expressed his appreciation to all participants, hoping to repeat this experience that would enhance student activity. In conclusion, student Rashad Essam, head of the Faculty of Business Union, thanked all participants, appreciating the university’s efforts to raise students’ awareness and provide them with the personal and social skills necessary to raise their community.
