Yesterday, the annual employment forum of the Faculty of Agriculture, Ain Shams University, was launched under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Amani Osama Kamel, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Walaa Abdel-Ghani El-Sayed, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture.

The forum will be held on February 16 and 17, 2025, in the faculty’s Grand Conference Hall. It aims to provide job opportunities for students and graduates, develop their skills, support them and qualify them for the labor market, in implementation of the university’s vision to serve students and graduates and contribute to building and strengthening links between companies and research centers to improve their career paths and qualify them for the labor market in a professional and institutional manner.
The current edition of the forum is distinguished by the presence of delegations representing many universities and colleges, consolidating the principle of exchanging experiences and knowledge between students from different specializations and cultures. The delegations come from the Faculties of Agriculture at Cairo University and Benha University (Mashtohor), the Faculty of Desert Agriculture at King Salman University, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Cairo University, the Faculty of Nutrition and Food Technology at Helwan University, the Faculty of Biotechnology at Nile University, the Faculty of Organic Agriculture at Heliopolis University for Sustainable Development, the Faculty of Biotechnology at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Ain Shams University, and the Faculty of Science at Cairo University.

The forum comes within the framework of the presidential initiative "A New Beginning for Human Building" to enhance cooperation between the university and industry, as it includes an exhibition of products of participating companies, graduation projects and start-up companies for students and graduates, in addition to awareness lectures by industrialists to link academic education with production sites.
The launch of the forum's activities witnessed a large elite of officials and leaders in research and service bodies and centers.
