In an atmosphere brimming with pride and success, Professor Dr. Mohamed Awad Tag El-Din, the President's Advisor for Health and Prevention, Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Ali El-Anwar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the University Hospitals' Board, Prof. Tarek Youssef, Executive Director of University Hospitals, and Prof. Shereen Ghaleb, Head of the Cairo Doctors' Syndicate, gathered to witness a remarkable celebration marking the graduation of the 2023/2024 batch of medical students from Ain Shams University.

During the event, Prof. Mohamed Awad Tag El-Din shared his deep pride in Egypt's vibrant youth, acknowledging their vital role in strengthening the healthcare system.
He highlighted that the medical graduates are the "battalions of the white army," who demonstrated exceptional skill and resilience during the COVID-19 pandemic. He also praised the global standing of Egyptian doctors, with special recognition for the outstanding graduates of Ain Shams University’s Faculty of Medicine.
In his speech, he also highlighted the tremendous capabilities of the Faculty of Medicine and Ain Shams Medical City, which have played a key role in introducing the latest medical and surgical interventions in line with global advancements. Among these were Egypt's first heart surgery, catheterization, and heart stenting, as well as the first intensive care unit for cardiology and the first dialysis unit, in addition to numerous other intricate surgeries.
He emphasized that the faculty continues to advance its medical units, consistently striving to provide cutting-edge services in accordance with the highest standards.
He concluded his speech by reaffirming the Egyptian state's commitment, under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, to providing all forms of support to doctors, whether in terms of improving income or medical training. He also highlighted the introduction of the Medical Liability Law to ensure a fair and motivating work environment for medical professionals.
Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, praised the tremendous effort and dedication the graduates put in to reach this day. He emphasized that the medical profession is one of the most important and noble human missions, as it addresses the pain of individuals during their most vulnerable moments, whether physically or mentally.
He further noted that the medical profession requires special skills in dealing with various cultural and social backgrounds, in addition to a commitment to continuous learning and self-development to keep up with medical advancements.
He emphasized that a successful doctor is one who understands that medicine is not just a profession, but a noble mission that requires dedication and devotion to serve patients and society.
He concluded his speech by expressing sincere thanks and appreciation to the faculty members for their efforts in preparing and training a new generation of doctors. He also extended his gratitude to the parents, who played the most significant role in supporting their children throughout their years of study.

Prof. Ali El-Anwar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Ain Shams University, addressed the graduates, stressing that the medical profession has always been and will remain the most important and noble profession in life, due to the profound humanitarian message it carries.
He emphasized the importance of new doctors understanding the immense responsibility placed upon them, noting that belief in the greatness of this profession is the foundation for achieving success and distinction.
He emphasized that commitment, professional ethics, and continuous development are the pillars of a successful doctor, urging the graduates to rise to this great responsibility and always strive to serve humanity with dedication and sincerity.
In his speech, he also pointed out that this day represents a moment of pride and joy for every father and mother who had long dreamed of seeing their children in this place, and it is an overwhelming joy for their professors, who were partners in their academic and professional journey.
Prof. Shereen Ghaleb extended her greetings and appreciation to the leadership of Ain Shams University and the distinguished attendees. She congratulated the graduates and their families, expressing her pride in their efforts and dedication to reaching this significant moment. She concluded her speech by leading the Hippocratic Oath, in which the graduates echoed behind her in a moving scene.

Prof. Reem El-Kabarty, Director of the Alumni Association at the university, expressed her pride in the graduates, describing them as "yesterday's students and tomorrow's colleagues." She highlighted that graduation marks the finish line of a long marathon of effort and challenges, especially at the prestigious Ain Shams School of Medicine.
She also extended special congratulations to the parents, referring to them as the "unsung heroes," in recognition of their role in supporting their children throughout their years of study.
She reviewed the role and objectives of the Alumni Association, which aims to enhance communication between the university and its graduates, provide optimal career guidance to help them with their future choices, and foster a sense of belonging and loyalty to the faculty and university. She also mentioned the opportunity for graduates to participate in various university activities.
The ceremony was attended by Prof. Hala Suweed, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Rania Salah, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Students Affairs, Prof. Ismail Abdel-Ghaffar, President of the Maritime Transport Academy, Prof. Mohamed Fawzy Montaser, Former Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, along with a selection of faculty staff and the graduates' parents.
At the end of the ceremony, a series of distinguished musical performances were held, followed by the honoring of the graduates, the presentation of their certificates, and the taking of commemorative photographs.
