Within the presidential initiative, a new beginning for building the human being, the activities of the comprehensive development convoy of Ain Shams University for the Red Sea Governorate "Shalateen - Abu Ramad - Halayeb" have begun today under the auspices of Major General Staff Officer. Amr Hanafi, Governor of the Red Sea, Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.

The convoy is organized by the University's Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector, with the participation of the Red Sea Governorate, the Southern Military Region, the Ministry of Social Solidarity, and the Red Crescent Society.

The convoy's various activities will continue until February 27.

The convoy provides medical services, including clinics (internal medicine - children – gynaecology – otolaryngology - bones - ophthalmology - Cardiology - dermatology - teeth - brain and nerves - surgery - tests and x-rays - pharmacy - awareness campaigns), in addition to providing free treatment services and a number of various awareness lectures.

This is under the supervision of Prof. Hala Samir Sweid, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community and Environmental Affairs, and Prof. Tarek Youssef, Executive Director of University Hospitals, and coordination of Major General Hossam El-Sherbiny, Assistant Secretary of the University for Community and Environmental Affairs.
