Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Affairs, the Faculty of Dentistry, headed by Prof. Karim El-Batouti, organized a symposium on digital archiving, under the supervision of Prof. Walaa Hamed, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.

Dr. Ahmed El-Awady, Director of the Center of Excellence for Sustainability, lectured during the symposium at the computer lab, which was held newly opened at the faculty.

The symposium aims to keep the administrative staff abreast of all digital transformations, in terms of the level of archiving, digital transformation, the use of artificial intelligence and the process of following up on files of various types; while protecting files through cybersecurity to use them in making sound decisions, while identifying the importance of the digital archiving process in reducing the use of papers and its impact on the environment in order to achieve sustainability and transform Ain Shams University into a green, smart, sustainable university.
