A faculty member and a scholarship student from Ain Shams University participates in a scientific meeting at the University of Bologna, Italy, in the presence of the Egyptian Cultural Counselor

Within the framework of the keenness of the Missions Office at Ain Shams University to follow up on faculty staff and their assistants currently sent abroad, under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zein El-Abedeen, President of the University and Prof. Amani Osama Kamel, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, the Office followed up on the scientific meeting presented by one of the missions of Ain Shams University and currently sent from the Faculty of Science to the University of Bologna in Italy.

This scientific meeting was held within the framework of scientific exchange between Ain Shams University and the University of Bologna, where Prof. Abdullah Antar Saber, Assistant Professor in the Department of Botany at the Faculty of Science and currently sent on a scientific mission to conduct scientific research at the University of Bologna, addressed an important topic during which he addressed the biological diversity of algae in Egypt and their uses in various applied fields.

The scientific meeting hosted Prof. Marwa Fawzy, Cultural Counselor of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Rome, Italy, at the invitation of Prof. Marco Cantonati, Professor at the University of Bologna, which confirms and consolidates the Egyptian Italian interest in scientific cooperation on an international scale in various fields.

Prof. Abdullah Sami, General Supervisor of the University's Mission Office, said that such scientific meetings reflect the pioneering role played by Ain Shams University in scientific research in various fields, which has distinguished the university's faculty members internationally, ensuring intellectual and mental harmony in managing scientific and research projects at the international level with the best universities in the world.
