Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, chaired the sixth session of the Education and Students Sector Council for the academic year 2024-2025, in the presence of education agents, students in the faculties, and council members.

The university president began the session by welcoming the attendees and offering congratulations on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan. His Excellency also extended his thanks and appreciation to the Education and Students Affairs Sector and faculties team for the efforts made in the first semester exams and preparing for the second semester exams and continuing to work with the same procedures followed last year.

His Excellency also extended his thanks to the Education and Students Sector and university cities for completing the hotel building 1 in the female students' university city after its development, which was opened the day before yesterday and provides accommodation for 273 female students.

The minutes of the previous session held on January 14 were ratified, as well as the minutes of the Standing Committee at its session held on February 17, 2025, and its most important recommendations.

At the end of the session, the council authorized The President of the University on the topics that come up if the Education and Student Affairs Council and the University Council are not in session.
