Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University, and coordinated by Prof. Hanan Kamel Metwally, the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, and Prof. Mohamed Ibrahim Hassan, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, the Department of Tourist Guidance organized its scientific trip to the cities of Luxor and Aswan from February 21 to February 24.

The five-day trip included scientific visits where students explored the major tourist attractions of the two cities, which house a third of the world’s monuments. Among the most important and notable archaeological and tourist sites visited were the Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, Hatshepsut Temple, Ramesseum, Valley of the Kings, Tombs of the Nobles, and the temples of Edfu and Philae.
The trip was organized in coordination with Mr. Ibrahim Said Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and organized by Prof. Dr. Dina Sadiq, Acting Head of the Department of Tourist Guidance, Dr. Abir Adel, Lecturer in the Department, and Mr. Mohamed Ahmed, Teaching Assistant in the Department.![]() |
