"Scientific Research... A Life Journey" is the second seminar of the cultural season at the Faculty of Pharmacy

As part of the continuation of the series of educational seminars at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Ain Shams University, the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the faculty organized the cultural season activities for the second semester of the 2024/2025 academic year, under the title "The Journey of Scientific Research... A Part of the Life Journey... Who Are You? And What Do You Want?" The event was held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Rehab Othman Ahmed, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs.

         
   
         

The seminar was supervised by Prof. Rola Milad Labib, Acting Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and attended by several faculty members, teaching assistants, and students of the faculty.

The seminar was presented by Prof. Nadia Hamdy El-Hefny, Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the Biochemistry Department of the Faculty, who discussed the nature of modern scientific research considering global changes, the major challenges faced by researchers, and the key elements for the success of quality scientific research.

She also highlighted the tools for a researcher’s success in the research environment and emphasized the importance of balancing personal life with a research career.

The seminar featured enriching discussions on the keys to success and sustainability, how to overcome setbacks faced by researchers, and offered practical experience and advice on dealing with the challenges of scientific research.
