Ain Shams University announces the opening of nominations for faculty staff to participate in the Compasso d'Oro International Award for 2025, one of the world's most prestigious design awards. This call for applications comes in accordance with the directives of the Supreme Council of Universities and provides an exceptional opportunity for designers to showcase their innovative work. Founded in Italy in 1954, Compasso d'Oro Award is a symbol of excellence in industrial design, both Italian and international. It aims to honor and recognize outstanding innovations. Organized by the Italian Industrial Design Association (ADI), the award is open to participation across a wide range of design fields.

The 2025 theme is "Designing the Future Society for Our Lives."

The competition is being organized on the sidelines of Italy's participation in Expo 2025 in Osaka.
