The Students for Egypt family and the Ain Shams University Student Union, at Education and Student Sector, organized a grand iftar ceremony attended by the President of University and the advisor to the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

Celebrating the holy month of Ramadan in a joyful atmosphere, the Students for Egypt family at Ain Shams University, in cooperation with the University Student Union, organized the annual iftar ceremony. This event comes as part of the Education and Student Sector's commitment to encouraging students to engage in student activities, allowing them to develop their own social identity. This event was held in coordination with the Department of International Students and Visiting Professors in the International Relations Sector.

The iftar was held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and was attended by Prof. Karim Hammam, Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Director of the Leadership Development Institute; Prof. Ahmed Dehoum, Leader of the Students for Egypt Family; and a host of deans and vice deans of faculties.

The President of Ain Shams University expressed his full support for this student initiative, which reflects the spirit of solidarity and cohesion during the holy month of Ramadan. He praised the efforts of the Education and Student Sector, the Student Union, and the Students for Egypt Family in organizing this major event.

For her part, Wesam Khaled, President of the Ain Shams University Student Union, emphasized the importance of these events in strengthening communication among students and bringing joy and happiness to their hearts during the month of Ramadan. She noted that the ceremony aims to create a Ramadan atmosphere filled with brotherhood and spirituality.

The ceremony was attended by a large number of students of various nationalities, giving the atmosphere a distinctive international character. The ceremony also featured a variety of artistic shows, including a performance by the religious chanting band, which performed a selection of Ramadan hymns and chants, a choir, a tanoura and mawlawi performances, and folk arts performances that were greatly enjoyed by the audience.

Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, also honored student Hossam Karem, who won the Best Player Award in the seventh season of the Geniuses University Competition, and the university's winning team in the same competition.

The Education and Student Sector was keen to provide students with every comfort during the ceremony. The Iftar venue was equipped with the latest equipment, and a variety of Iftar meals were provided, which were well-received by all, under the general supervision and administrative coordination of Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for the Education and Student Sector.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, students expressed their great happiness with this kind initiative, emphasizing the importance of such events in strengthening social ties among students and bringing joy and happiness to their hearts during the holy month of Ramadan.
