The Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the Faculty of Arts at Ain Shams University organized a special celebration for the Ideal Mother and Ideal Father Day, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Hanan Kamel, Dean of the Faculty.

The celebration was supervised by Prof. Hanan Salem, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development, and attended by Prof. Mohamed Ibrahim, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs.

During the ceremony, exemplary mothers and fathers from various categories, including faculty staff, assistants, and employees, were honored based on nominations submitted by various departments and administrations.

Prof. Hanan Kamel, Dean of the Faculty, emphasized during the event that the Faculty of Arts is keen to celebrate this event annually in appreciation of the significant role mothers and fathers play in building families and raising children, and their sacrifices to preserve the family and society.

For her part, Prof. Hanan Salem, Vice Dean of the College, expressed her happiness with this celebration, emphasizing that every mother and father deserves appreciation and celebration, and that this celebration represents the simplest form of honoring their sacrifices.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, certificates of honor were presented to the exemplary mothers and fathers. The late Professor Iglal Ismail Helmy, Professor of Sociology, was also honored for her distinguished contributions to science and humanity. The honor was received by the daughter of the deceased, Professor Abeer Hamdy.

With this celebration, the Faculty of Arts at the university continues its support and appreciation for the fathers, mothers, employees, and workers who contribute to building the nation and consolidating the values ​​of family and society.
