Under the patronage of Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; Dr. Mustafa Refaat, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Universities; Dr. Karim Hammam, Advisor to the Minister for Student Activities and Director of the Institute; and in cooperation with the Supreme Council of Universities and the Student Activities Sector at the Ministry, Ain Shams University, headed by Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University, is participating with a distinguished student delegation in the "Preparing Leaders for Social Innovation" program for students at Egyptian universities and institutes. The program is organized by the Leadership Development Institute at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. This comes as part of Ain Shams University's commitment to activating student activities and developing the capabilities of its students in vital fields that serve society and contribute to achieving the goals of the National Strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research towards building an innovative and sustainable knowledge-based society.

Ain Shams University, through the Education and Student Sector - General Administration for Youth Care - Social Activities Department at the Leadership Development Institute in Helwan, is participating with a group of students from the university from April 8 to April 11, 2025, in the student forum held at the institute's headquarters under the title "Preparing Social Innovation" program.

The program aims to develop social leadership and innovation skills among Egyptian university and institute students, enabling them to address societal challenges using contemporary tools such as artificial intelligence and social entrepreneurship. The "Preparing Social Innovation Leaders" program aims to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills in the areas of national security, combating extremist ideas, and social innovation considering the digital revolution. It also provides practical training in designing pioneering community initiatives. The program also includes specialized topics such as developing social leadership skills in innovation environments, social innovation in the age of artificial intelligence, and practical workshops in the fields of social marketing, community initiative design, and entrepreneurship.
