The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Support Unit at the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Ain Shams University, organized the fifth edition of the “Alsunians Innovate” competition, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University, Prof. Amany Osama Kamel, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, and under the supervision of Prof. Ashraf Attia, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Hala Sayed Metwally, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Ms. Heidi Khaled, Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Support Unit at the Faculty of Al-Alsun, and in the presence of Eng. Mustafa Magdy, Representative of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Support Center at Ain Shams University, and Dr. Radwa El-Husseiny, Director of the Innovation Unit at the Faculty of Computers and Information.

Participants presented outstanding innovative ideas, spanning a variety of topics and fields, reflecting the cultural and cognitive diversity within the faculty. In the researchers' track, Prof. Omaima Khashaba, Head of the Department of African Languages and Professor of Literature in the Department of Arabic Language, won first place for her project "The Talking Doll," which blends creativity with educational and cultural dimensions.
In the students' track, first place went to the IAM Egypt team for their innovative e-app project to promote Egyptian tourism. “Intqaa” team came in second place with their project to connect translators to the labor market, while “You Safe” team won third place for their smart bag that integrates technology with personal security.

The event was carefully coordinated by the coordinators and members of the college's Innovation and Entrepreneurship Support Unit, with the distinguished participation of the “iClub” Innovation Club team, which handled organizational and logistical aspects, helping to ensure the event's success.
The event was praised by attendees for the quality of the projects, the excellent organization, and the creative spirit that distinguished the participants, reaffirming the Faculty of Al-Alsun' active role in supporting a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship on campus.
