As part of strengthening cooperation between the Egyptian Organization for Standards and Quality and Egyptian universities, Dr. Eng. Khaled Soufi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Organization for Standards and Quality, received Prof. Walaa Abdel-Ghani El-Sayed, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at Ain Shams University.

The meeting discussed several topics of mutual interest, particularly in the areas of specifications, quality, training, and ways to support scientific research and practical applications in the agricultural and food sectors.
They also toured the Organization's food laboratories, where they were briefed on the advanced technical capabilities they possess.
For his part, Prof. Walaa El-Sayed praised the Organization's distinguished laboratory capabilities, emphasizing the importance of this type of cooperation in supporting development and innovation efforts and enhancing the quality of food products in line with national and international standards.
