Ain Shams University Approves the Results of 2024 Scientific Award Winners Across Various Fields

As part of Ain Shams University’s continuous efforts to promote a culture of excellence and innovation and to foster a spirit of scientific competition among researchers, and under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University, and Prof. Amani Osama Kamel, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, the university has announced the names of the winners of the 2024 Scientific Awards. This announcement follows sustained efforts by the University Awards Office, in cooperation with the General Administration for Scientific Research, the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Graduate Studies and Research, and all supporting departments.

The evaluation process was conducted according to the highest standards of accuracy and transparency, in adherence to approved academic guidelines, and was completed after the awards committee finalized its review. The committee based its decisions on the Awards Committee Report following its meeting chaired by the University President on April 8, 2025, with the results officially approved during the University Council session held on April 28, 2025.

The 2024 University Awards comprised four main categories: Distinguished Awards, Pioneer Awards, Incentive Awards and Distinguished Women’s Awards. A total of 37 awards were granted, covering a wide range of academic disciplines. The awards witnessed strong competition among approximately 80 faculty staff and teaching assistants from various faculties of the university.

First: Winners of the University’s Distinguished Awards

A total of 16 faculty staff from various faculties of the university were awarded the University’s Distinguished Award, which were distributed as follows:

In the Field of Social and Human Sciences:
