"We are keen to activate the activities of students through the channels of legitimacy represented in the student unions," This was confirmed by Prof. Dr. Nagwa Badr Dean of the Faculty of Computer and Information at Ain Shams University during her tour to follow up the work of the first day to launch the Marathon student elections. Where the process of withdrawal and submission of nomination forms in the various committees of the Union, in preparation for the announcement of the final statements on Sunday, 4 November. The elections is organized under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Abdul Wahab Ezzat University President and the supervision of the Supreme Committee for Elections headed by Prof. Dr. Nazmi Abdel Hamid, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development.
The tour was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Hala Moushir, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Mr. Mohammed Al Deeb, Assistant Secretary for Education Affairs and Students, and member of the Higher Committee for Elections.
During the tour, the students expressed their enthusiasm for the marathon of elections, considering the student union in its various committees as a window to express their talents and empty their energies and provide them with more life experiences that sharpen their personalities and enable them to integrate into the university life and connect them to practical life outside the framework of academic study.
Prof. Dr. Nagwa Badr confirmed that the university administration headed by Prof. Dr. Abdel Wahab Ezzat is keen to support students and facilitate the practice of student activities in all its forms.
