Prof. Dr. Nazmi Abdel Hamid, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Mrs. Mamram Mousa, Vice President of Qasr El Nile Club signed a protocol of cooperation between the two sides to renew the partnership between the two sides in a number of areas of community service.
During his speech, Dr. Nazmi Abdel Hamid said that Ain Shams University is keen to expand the base of community partnership with various civil society organizations, especially those who have proven their seriousness and their effectiveness in cooperation. He pointed out that voluntary social work has undergone a great development from the traditional individual image to the collective partnership to meet the needs of society and help to develop it.
Mr. Samir Abdel Nasser reviewed the most important items included in the Protocol, which include partnership in the establishment of charity exhibitions and the organization and preparation of medical convoys and blood donation campaigns. As well as awareness campaigns, cultural events, and many other activities, praising the previous cooperation between the two sides, which achieved good results paid to renew the partnership for the third consecutive year.
Prof. Dr. Hehab Shaheen, Director of the Media Center of the University, has appreciated the efforts of community service sector and environment development as well as Rotary club in providing a variety of services in kind and material to various segments and sectors of society, especially through partnership in the comprehensive development convoys launched by the University in various governorates of the Republic.
Mrs. Maram Moussa expressed her happiness to continue to cooperate with a university with its weight such as Ain Shams University under the auspices of Mr. Hisham Badawi, President of the club. He stressed that this cooperation provides ideals and examples for youth and reflects the importance of giving to the community and that they have a role in the service and development of their hands without waiting for anyone.
The Rotary delegation participated in the opening of the fifth edition of the exhibition "Proudly made in Egypt" before the signing of the partnership protocol.
