The Faculty of Graduate Studies for Childhood is the only institution for childhood at the Arab level that prepares specialists at a high scientific and practical level in the fields of childhood.

The Institute of Graduate Studies for Childhood at Ain Shams University was established by Republican Decree No. 278 of 1981 AD, and the study began in February 1982 in the institute, which was transformed into the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Childhood in 2017 AD.

The Faculty is distinguished on the Arab level as the only institution for childhood that prepares specialists at a high scientific, practical (clinical) level in the fields of childhood, as it grants master’s and doctoral degrees in the medical or psychological field or media and children’s culture. The Faculty was accredited in May 2022 by the National Authority to ensure Education quality and accreditation.

The vision of the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Childhood, Ain Shams University is: (Achieving uniqueness and leadership for the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Childhood in education, scientific research, training and community services at the local, regional and international levels).

Graduates of the faculty are distinguished by their comprehensive, integrated and broad scientific backgrounds in the various fields of childhood in which they receive courses and prepare a scientific thesis as a summary of careful study and research in the field of specialization or in one of the other fields of specialization in the college. The college is unique in this kind of comprehensive and integrated preparation for specialists in the fields of childhood at the level of the Arab world.
