The Scholarships Welfare Office at Ain Shams University announces the opening of the application for the eighth announcement of the Higher Education Initiative Program for Graduate Studies for Professionals submitted by the Central Department of Scholarships at the Ministry of Higher Education in cooperation with the United States Agency for International Development
The "Higher Education Initiative for Graduate Studies Scholarships for Professionals" program comes in accordance with Agreement No. 263-289 signed between the US Agency for International Development and the Central Administration of Missions at the Ministry of Higher Education, which provides for the provision of scholarships for the purpose of raising the efficiency of Egyptian government institutions, universities, research centers and limited places for the private sector to contribute In the national economic growth, these scolarships are available to males, females and people with special needs

* Rare and modern engineering and technology sciences.
* Computer Science and Information Technology.

First: Scholarship details:
Details of scholarships for post-doctoral assignments in the United States of America:
* Obtaining an IBT TOEFL score of 52 or an IELTS score of 5.5 is a mandatory requirement when submitting an abstract.
* Obtaining a Ph.D.
* Working in a permanent job or in the contract system in one of the governmental or private agencies in the Arab Republic of Egypt
* The applicant should not have previously benefited from the program or obtained a mission or grant provided to the state through the Central Administration of Missions for the purpose of obtaining post-doctoral scientific missions during the last two years.
* Study for a full 6 months in the United States of America.
* Studying at an accredited and recognized university in the United States of America
B- Scholarships details for one-semester training in the USA:
* A score of 52 on the IBT (TOEFL) or a score of 5.5 on the “IELTS.” A mandatory requirement when submitting a research proposal.
* Working in a permanent job or in the contract system in one of the governmental or private agencies in the Arab Republic of Egypt
* Training in one of the accredited and recognized universities or institutions in the United States of America
* Study in the United States of America for a period of one semester, with a maximum of one semester, and a maximum of four months.
Allocations for post-doctoral scholarships:
Seven training scholarships allocations for one semester:
* The fees for obtaining a language degree are paid in the event the candidate obtains the scholarship permanently “and those dues are paid upon his arrival in the United States of America.
* Expenses of a medical examination before travel, and disbursed upon arrival in the United States of America.
* One-time round-trip economy tickets.
* A living allowance in US dollars is paid every first day of each month since the moment of arrival. * Health insurance within the United States of America.
Scholarship admission steps:

* The application form for the candidates is approved and sealed
* The letter of authorization of the coordinator is approved and sealed, provided that the letter includes the following data: name - job - employer - e-mail - mobile number.
* A copy of the institution's internal advertisement approved
* A list of the names of the applicants, with the internal declaration sealed by the institution's executive authority.
* A job status statement certified and sealed by the institution in Arabic.
* A letter of nomination approved and sealed by the institution in Arabic and English.
* Certificates obtained: Bachelor's - Diploma - Master's - Doctorate (only) in English.
* The original language level certificate is valid (validity is a maximum of two years from the date of the test).
* A copy of the passport showing the current job and is valid until the end of the grant

* For scientific assignments: a research plan approved and sealed by the institution in the English language.
Second: Documents for private sector institutions

* For the institution: (Introductory letter to the institution explaining the nature of its work, labor intensity and history
* Its establishment and the extent of its contribution to the Egyptian national economy, provided that it is approved and sealed with the seal of the institution.
