The Visting Professors Office at Ain Shams University publishes the announcement of the Egyptian Japanese Education Initiative (EJEP) for the academic year 2024/2025, which is presented through a partnership program between the Central Administration of Scholarships at the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

Faculty staff and their assistants at Egyptian universities and research centers (parties included in the scholarship plan) can apply electronically through the electronic platform of the Central Administration for Scholarships at the link https://eservices.cdm.edu.eg/services/CDMA_2023 during the period from Tuesday 4/23/ 2024 until Thursday, 5/23/2024, as follows: -

- Joint supervision mission: - The opportunity is given to spend a year doing research in one of the higher education institutions in Japan for Egyptians who are currently preparing a doctorate at an Egyptian government university or one of the research centers.

- Scientific mission: - To conduct post-doctoral research (Post Doctor - scientific exchange - visits to scientific schools - visits to laboratories - writing a project) and its duration is 6 months.

- Master’s: - A scholarship to obtain a master’s degree from one of the educational institutions in Japan, for a period of one year, which can be extended for a maximum of another year.
