Egyptian-Russian cooperation in the field of scientific research

Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President of Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, witnessed the opening session and a session of scientific discussions to enhance cooperation with the United Institute for Nuclear Sciences in Dubna - Russia, and to discuss the promotion of membership to a main partner, at the invitation of the Academy of Scientific Research, under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

         
   
         

The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ragaa, Dean of the Faculty of Science, Ain Shams University, and a large group of scientists and professors from Egyptian and Russian universities.

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ragaa explained that the forum today is part of the scientific cooperation and the Egyptian-Russian discussions that extended over the past long years and continue until now, represented by the Joint Institute for Nuclear Sciences, which includes a group of nuclear countries, most notably Russia.

He also indicated that Egypt is a participating member, but there is an effort and effort to reach Egypt for full membership with regard to joint scientific and research production, and this will develop for the better with taking full membership.

He added that Ain Shams University seeks to activate its role in the field of nuclear sciences in the field of biology and in the field of physics to give a strong impetus to the field of scientific research

He stressed that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research paid great attention and supported joint scientific research, especially with Russia.
