Within the framework of the political leadership’s directives to raise the level of awareness and raise the spirit of loyalty and belonging among university students by participating in visits to shrines that tell the history and greatness of the Egyptian state, the PDF coordinated with Ain Shams University, and under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, as well as the supervision of Colonel Ahmed Abdel Gawad Allam, Director of the Military Education Department at the university, worked on organizing two visits during the month of September. The first visit was to the Air Force Museum, where the students listened to a detailed explanation of some types of aircraft in our armed forces, the development that took place in the Air Force, and the recent entry of some fighters into service. Some aircraft simulators and models, as well as watching a documentary film on the development of the Air Force and some of the successes of our Air Force in the past during the October War or recently in the face of terrorism to preserve the Egyptian state from inside or outside its borders.
The second visit came to the October Panorama, where the students watched some simulators of the Egyptian weapons that participated in the October War. Some of the equipment and weapons that were destroyed by the enemy during the Glorious October War were reviewed. Documentary films that tell the stories and heroisms of the October War were also viewed, and the students expressed their happiness. They participated in these visits and were keen to take memorial photos to commemorate those visits.
