The Faculty of Computers and Information Sciences at Ain Shams University won first place in the Government Excellence Award competition

On Tuesday, October 19, 2021, the ceremony for the announcement of the Egypt Awards for Government Excellence in its second session was held at Al-Qubba Palace, which was held under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, President of the Republic, and in the presence of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, Dr. Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, and His Excellency Minister Mohammed Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and the Future of the sisterly United Arab Emirates, and with the participation of a number of ministers and public figures. The ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University. The Faculty of Computers and Information, Ain Shams University, took first place for the Distinguished Governmental Institution Award where about 450 faculties competed for the award, and Prof. Dr. Nagwa Badr, Dean of the Faculty, received the first place shield from the Prime Minister, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly. The Faculty administration thanked Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, for his continuous support and follow-up to the faculty and to qualify for the award in all its stages.

         
   
         

The faculty administration also expressed its thanks and gratitude to the faculty’s work team, including faculty staff, the teaching assistants, the administrative staff, and the award coordinator in the faculty, including Prof. Dr. Hala Mushir Ebeid, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Rasha Ismail, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, Dr. Wedad Hussein, Director of the Quality Assurance Unit, and members of the teaching and assistance staff who participated with them.
