The Eighth Employment Forum at the Faculty of Nursing

The Faculty of Nursing at Ain Shams University organized the eighth employment forum for its Nursing Administration Department, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Dr. Sahar Musa, Dean of the Faculty and President of the Forum, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Hayam Refaat, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, coordinated by Prof. Dr. Mona Mustafa Al-Shazly, Head of the Nursing Administration Department and Rapporteur of the Forum, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Taya Abdul Latif, Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education, Prof. Dr. Reem Al-Kabariti, Director of the Alumni Unit at the university, in the presence of the organizing committee of the forum, faculty staff, the teaching assistants and students of the Faculty, and representatives of some participating hospitals such as Ain Shams University Hospital, Cleopatra Hospitals Group, Hospital 57357, Misr International Hospital, Al Salam International Hospital, Nozha International Hospital, Air Specialized Hospital and Al-Arabi Hospital, as well as a live broadcast for all graduates, students and target groups for the previous years.

         
   
         

Prof. Dr. Sahar Moussa explained in her speech on the university and faculty’s constant keenness to organize employment forums to provide appropriate training and employment opportunities for their students and qualify them for the labor market, adding that the Faculty is constantly striving to develop its graduate children and provide them with new skills to work in the largest hospitals in specialized professional ways, in order to raise and develop the quality of health services provided to patients in all disciplines.

Prof. Dr. Taya Abdul Latif confirmed that the Faculty of Nursing is one of the important and influential colleges within the university, stressing the excellence of the college with its professors and graduates, pointing out that the nursing profession is a noble profession, and college students must learn how to deal humanely with patients after their graduation.

Prof. Dr. Reem Al-Kabariti talked about the University’s Alumni Association and its role in always linking graduates to the labor market, as it prepares reports on the latest market needs and attempts to link them to the curriculum, noting that graduates of the Ain Shams College of Nursing have acquired a great competitive advantage in the labor market.

Prof. Dr. Hayam Refaat stated that the aim of the forum is to provide an opportunity for students and graduates to learn about the labor market, and to link the labor market and the college to create distinct job opportunities for its graduates.

At the end of the forum, faculty staff in the department and hospital representatives participating in the forum were honored, certificates of honor were distributed and memorial photos were taken.
