Prof. Dr. Amira Youssef, Dean of the Faculty of Girls, Ain Shams University, and Dr. Heba Barakat, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, inaugurated the charitable exhibition organized by the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the faculty in cooperation with the English Department and the participation of the French Language Department.
Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Ghada Farouk, who is acting as Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.
Prof. Dr. Amira Youssef, Dean of the Faculty, explained that the aim of the exhibition is to provide high quality products for female students at nominal prices, such as clothes, shoes, leather products, scarfs and jewellery, noting that the return from the exhibition will pay the expenses of students who are unable.
She added that there is a turnout in the exhibition from female students, stressing the Faculty's keenness to repeat the charity exhibition several times.
Prof. Dr. Heba Barakat, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, indicated that the application of precautionary measures at the exhibition was taken into account, the follow-up of female students wearing masks, the prevention of crowding, the limitation of the number of attendees in the exhibition grounds, and the continuous sterilization.
The charity exhibition of clothes comes within the framework of the Faculty of Girls’ interest in promoting the spirit of belonging and spreading the culture of solidarity in the university community, and based on the social responsibility that the Faculty adopts.
