Ain Shams University continues the first-semester exams marathon

Ain Shams University continues headed by Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini exams for the first semester in the various faculties of the university, which are 19 faculties. In this context, Prof. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, that there are 220,000 male and female students and 7,000,000 foreign students taking exams amid precautionary and preventive measures to ensure the safety of our students and all those in charge of the exam process, pointing out that the students were divided into exam periods throughout the day ranging from 3 to 5 periods according to the number of students in each faculty.

He added that Ain Shams University had prepared from an early period to receive exams for the first semester of the academic year 2022/2023, with full benefit from the educational platforms of Ain Shams University "Ain Shams University portal for e-learning ASU 2 Learn and Ain Shams University platform for electronic assessment ASU 2 Test, which is the result of the efforts of the Department of Education Development at Ain Shams University headed by Prof. Mona Abdel-Al, and these platforms succeeded in providing an innovative, enjoyable and integrated educational experience for all our students at various stages, from the first university years until the bachelor’s or licentiate stage, as well as blended education students.

         
   
         

He emphasized that Ain Shams University has been keen for years to develop curricula and learning methods, which was reflected in the development of future skills among university students, based on methods of integrating virtual applications and educational tools that help in the distance learning process, in addition to activating the question banks system with a total of 1911 question banks and 331418 questions, and the activation of the electronic correction system, which is characterized by the accuracy of the extracted results, as well as the activation of the electronic examination system and the establishment of electronic examination centers that include 9 halls with a capacity of 1950 students, in addition to small halls with a capacity of 35 students that were provided in other faculties for this purpose, such as the Faculties of Arts and Education, and this made Ain Shams University a destination far and near, due to its international academic reputation, which qualified it to compete strongly within the most prestigious international rankings.

It is scheduled that the first semester exams at Ain Shams University will continue according to the schedules announced in each faculty and according to the timeline of the study in the various faculties of the university.
