Program Objectives

1- Providing distinguished education in computer science commensurate with international academic standards and community requirements.

2- Providing graduates in the field of computer science who have the ability to compete in the labor market.

3- Providing graduates of the program with basic knowledge in basic sciences and computer science such as data science, cryptography, artificial intelligence, bioinformatics, and others.

4- Providing the graduate with the necessary practical skills to deal with computers and learn different programming languages.

Provide graduates of the program with the ability to formulate various problems and solve them using computer science in designing and analyzing problems and choosing the appropriate method to solve them.

Program features and employment opportunities

Graduates of the program have high skills that enable them to work in:

* Research centers

* Teaching

* Computer and software companies

Conditions for joining the program

* To enroll in the computer science program, the student must enroll in the first level in the first semester of the mathematics program, then join the computer science program in the second semester of the first level.

* Students transferred from the first level continue studying in the second level, computer science, and continue with it until graduation, based on the conditions set annually by the Mathematics Department and approved by the Faculty Council. The Faculty Council determines the minimum number of students in each division.
