Prince Mohamed bin Fahd University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with the support of scientific research and encouraging innovation, in cooperation with the General Secretariat of the Association of Arab Universities, and in partnership with the National Academy of Inventors in the United States of America, launched the International Patent Award 2024.

The award is granted to the best inventions registered in the US Patent and Trademark Office during the last five years to employees of universities and research centers that are members of the National Academy of Inventors and that meet the criteria for granting the award.

The award aims to honor innovators and help finance the exploitation of winning inventions to apply knowledge and achieve their positive impacts on society and humanity.
