The Scholarship Welfare Office at Ain Shams University announces the announcement of the Central Administration of Scholarships regarding granting master’s and doctoral degrees offered by the People’s Republic of China in the following fields: (Computer science and artificial intelligence - building networks, communications and information - cyber security - marine engineering sciences - mechanical - electrical). – Industrial Engineering – Physical Therapy – Study of Chinese Language and Literature, as well as specializations that serve Egypt’s Vision 2030).
Applying Conditions:
* The candidate must be of Egyptian nationality and work in one of the entities listed in the scholarship plan.
* The period of service in the employer should not be less than one year.
* The age should not be more than 30 years for a master’s degree, and not more than 33 years for a doctorate at the date of the announcement.
* For a master’s degree: If he is registered for a master’s degree, the registration period should not exceed one year at the date of the start of the announcement.
* Regarding the doctorate: In the event that the applicant has registered the subject of the doctoral thesis, the registration period should not exceed 18 months in accordance with the approval of the Executive Committee for Scholarships at the session of 5/6/2021, and if the applicant is not registered for a doctoral degree, the period for obtaining a master’s degree must not exceed two years on the date of the start of the announcement.
Scholarship data:
* The Chinese side provides the following to Egyptian students who receive scholarships:
* Monthly scholarship value: 3,000 yuan for master’s students, 3,500 for doctoral students.
* Exemption from registration fees.
* A premium on annual registration fees for attending lectures and studies.
* Exemption from the costs of specific academic subjects and scheduled accommodation expenses.
* A certain amount is paid once to arrange accommodation.
* Providing free comprehensive medical treatment for Egyptian students who obtain doctoral scholarships from the Chinese government.
* Transit service for Egyptian students receiving free doctoral scholarships from the Chinese capital to and from the place of study when they join and graduate from the university.
*The scholarship does not include round-trip travel expenses.
* The missions shall bear (what no other party shall bear) the full value of the grant provided by the Chinese side in accordance with the executive program, as well as round-trip travel tickets in accordance with the financial regulations of the missions.
* Scholarships do not bear any expenses for the family in accordance with the decision of the Executive Committee of Scholarships in the session of 8/23/2017, as amended by the decision of the Executive Committee of Scholarships in the session of 11/19/2017.
Required Documents:
Complete the application form from the website for the “Type A” program https://www.campuschina.org and insert the code number 8181 on the form, otherwise the student’s file will not be accepted.
A data form in Arabic approved by the employer indicating the date of appointment.
An initial acceptance letter from a supervising professor at a Chinese university.
A letter from the employer addressed to the scholarships approving the student’s nomination for the scholarship, stating that he is not nominated for any of the other scholarships or scholarships, as well as a statement of sending opinion poll forms to the security authorities to approve travel.
(2) copies of the research plan of no less than 1000 words in Chinese or English. If the student specializes in one of the fields of arts or design, please provide us with a copy of his own works, such as (video clips or paintings).
Original criminal status newspaper with a recent date + a copy.
(2) copies of the CV and 2 summary of the master’s thesis (in English approved by the employer).
Letters of recommendation from a professor.
Two (2) completed and certified copies of the medical examination, which he copies from the website of the Chinese Embassy in Cairo.
The candidate’s original certificate of passing a score of 62 in the IBT or 6 in the IELTS test, unless the granting side requests a higher score. (It is not permissible to submit a receipt for the language test, and you must submit the original certificate when applying for the scholarship). If the student chooses to study in Chinese, he must obtain a language level of HSK4.
Bachelor’s degree - estimates of years of study - Master’s degree (original + true copy in English).
2 copies of the passport valid for a period of not less than 3 years.
