The Scholarship Welfare Office at Ain Shams University announces the support of the French Embassy in Egypt for doctoral students and young Egyptian researchers who wish to complete their scientific dissertations in France.
The French Embassy in Egypt offers a grant program for short academic stays in France for the benefit of young Egyptian researchers (doctoral scholarships) working on their research proposals in Egyptian public and private universities. These scholarships are granted for a maximum period of 12 months, and a maximum of 6 months annually. Accepted master’s may be allowed to complete their scientific research under joint supervision, i.e. register as doctoral students in both Egypt and France to obtain a double doctoral degree. Each scholarship covers travel costs, health, and social insurance, and living expenses in France.
