Unit objectives:

 Examination of histological samples and their diagnosis.

 Providing a specialized service for the measurements of materials used and resulting from dental research, provided that it is for a predetermined fee.

 Writing the results of accurate measurements and microscopic diagnostic reports and giving a certificate.

 Imaging diagnostic x-rays and writing a report on them.

 Holding training courses on the use of accurate measuring devices and participating in similar courses inside and outside Egypt.

 Propaganda magazines for the unit (500 copies).

Other Achievements:

 1685 samples were measured by the unit's equipment.

 Contribution to scientific research submitted by faculty members in and outside the faculty.

 Providing services to dental materials companies and suppliers to evaluate imported and journal materials used for dental treatment.

 Consultations in the field of various research that serve the environment.
