Center Objectives:

Work on increasing productivity and reducing waste in various agricultural fields.
Guide the local community on proper agricultural methods and practices, and establish demonstration fields and models to be followed.
Promote scientific research in the agricultural field by providing the necessary conditions and factors for conducting and implementing experiments for faculty members and researchers.
Provide agricultural products to faculty staff and employees at the university at cost prices.

Center Activities and Events:

First: Conducting a number of research experiments during the period from July 2021 to June 2023.
Second: Implementing training programs and guidance convoys:
* A training program titled "Food Safety Management Systems" was conducted from February 22-24, 2022, and was attended by a number of trainees from within and outside the faculty.
* The Agricultural Experiments and Research Center hosted members of the Faculty's Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Committee, as well as a delegation from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Ain Shams University, to review the center's activities, hear about the most important problems facing livestock production herds at the center and surrounding villages, and provide the necessary advice and guidance (guidance caravan in May 2022).
* Guidance lectures were held for farmers and breeders at the center's headquarters at Shalqan Farm on proper agricultural practices for growing maize and rice and preventing bovine tuberculosis and brucellosis from May 14, 24, and 29, 2023.
