Unit vision:
To become a pioneer and distinguished locally and regionally in developing and qualifying students and graduates for the labor market in a manner that keeps pace with the surrounding developments.
Unit mission:
The unit is the link between academic education and the requirements of the labor market, as the unit offers specialized courses in computer science, electronic accounting, and the required modern accounting programs in implementation of the state's sustainable development plan, and to achieve the vision and mission of the faculty and university in realizing the hopes of its graduates in possessing the necessary skills that qualify them for the labor market in a manner that keeps pace with the surrounding developments in order to obtain suitable job opportunities.

The Computer and Information Technology Unit aims to develop the skills of faculty staff, teaching assistants, and employees of the faculty and university; As well as human resources in various departments and institutions, in addition to highly qualifying students and graduates in the field of computer science and information systems in line with the requirements of the labor market, through the following:
• Holding training courses in all computer programs, modern statistical programs, computer-based accounting, the Internet, graphic programs, programming and databases.
• Holding specialized training courses in the field of computers and information technology with a focus on the application and technical aspects of these programs.
• Providing technical consultations in the field of statistics, the field of computers and accounting, and the field of ready-made accounting programs.
• Holding training courses in the field of statistical data analysis for researchers inside and outside the faculty using a number of statistical programs and packages, and reviewing and auditing the statistical analysis of researchers in cooperation with the Department of Statistics, Mathematics and Insurance at the faculty.
• Providing technical consultations to the faculty staff to solve the problems they face when using computers.
• Developing the skills of the faculty staff in the field of using computers to assist in the transition to mechanization of administrative work in the faculty.
• Providing consultations in the areas of analysis, design and development of information systems in commercial, industrial and service institutions.
• Cooperating with the faculty staff in the faculty to develop the educational process through the use of information technology and multimedia; And training students to implement the practical aspects of the courses using computers.
• Providing lecture preparation services for faculty staff using various presentation programs specialized in this.
• Holding some workshops and seminars on modern topics related to the work of the unit, with the help of some specialists to attract new segments to benefit from the activities of the unit.
• Providing free training courses for distinguished employees and students in different stages.
• Participating in developing administrative information systems at the faculty.
• Updating the work of the unit by developing the vision, mission and objectives of the unit; with periodic review of each of them.
• Developing the performance of the unit's employees in a way that leads to increased productivity and achieving the objectives set for the unit.
• Developing an annual training plan for the unit's activity that includes many programs that are compatible with the Computer and Information Technology Unit's target groups, and working to market this plan
