Unit Activities
Permanent preparation to face potential disasters with all services and measures.
Initial coordination between the agencies and services concerned with the disaster and the civil defense authorities to determine their respective roles and the method of cooperation between them.
Determining the priorities of the urgent measures necessary to confront the disaster, then removing its effects and returning normal life again.
Developing alternative plans to implement them in case the implementation of the original plans to control the situation fails.
Design and develop preparedness plans for crises and disasters.
Rationalizing the decisions of the agencies concerned with crises in the government, the private sector and the joint sector.
Translating scientific ideas and theories in the field of crises and disasters into a tangible reality and bridging the gaps between them.
Developing the knowledge balance in the field of crisis and disaster management through research activities, disseminating knowledge and developing skills through training programs.
