Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, met with a group of outstanding and talented university students who were chosen to travel to the Emirate of Dubai and participate in the Expo 2020 Dubai during the mid-year vacation.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Shahira Samir, Executive Director of the International Relations and Academic Cooperation Sector, and Ms. Reham Al-Atifi, Director General of the General Administration of Education and Student Affairs.

During the meeting, Prof. Mahmoud El-Metini stressed that the exhibition is a real opportunity for students to learn about different cultures and the latest innovations, which will add to them a lot of experiences, and asked them to prepare a detailed report on the visit to benefit from it.

It is worth noting that Expo 2020, an international exhibition hosted by the Emirate of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates from October 1, 2021, to March 31, is the first exhibition of its kind to be held in the Middle East.

Expo 2020 Dubai is an incubator for new ideas from around the world, with the exhibition entitled "Connecting Minds, Creating the Future".

The exhibition's subtitles such as Opportunity, Mobility and Sustainability inspire the world to protect the planet, explore new horizons and build a bright future.
