Addressing the faculties' agents and members of the committee, at the committee’s specified date and location, on the form ASU-VEA-PM-63 / F011, in order to present the applied research data received on the committee to select the appropriate research according to the approved standards (attached).
Approval of the minutes of the meeting of the Applied Research Committee by the Assistant Secretary of the University for Community and Environmental Affairs with the approval of his Excellency on the Council for Community and Environmental Affairs at its next meeting.
Addressing the General Administration of Budget on the form ASU-VEA-PM-63 / F011 to continue sending special links for applied research to the various colleges in preparation for researchers to complete their applied research procedures
During the fiscal year, researchers are addressed on the form ASU-VEA-PM-63 / F011 to follow up on research work periodically and to inform us of what has been accomplished and actually spent during the research period.
At the end of the fiscal year, researchers will be addressed on the form ASU-VEA-PM-63 / F011 to provide us with the technical and financial reports (attached) on the form ASU-VEA-PM-63 / F017 and what has been achieved in preparation for presentation to the Applied Research Committee.
After completing the presentation to the committee, researchers are addressed on the form ASU-VEA-PM-63 / F011 to take the necessary measures towards actual benefit from the research through one of the following steps:
Obtaining a patent for applied research
Publication of applied research in one of the international or local journals
Marketing applied research, if possible, to benefit from it in the external community
Collecting revenues of the unit from certifying and reviewing certificates of units and centers of a special nature
Receive the document for collecting the fees according to the number of certificates.
Issuing a payment note of the mentioned value and providing it to the university treasury on the form ASU-VEA-PM-63 / F018
