A delegation from the Irish University of Dublin is visiting Ain Shams University

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Matiny, President of Ain Shams University, received a delegation from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, including Professor Zuleika Rodgers, Head of the Middle East Studies Department at the University of Dublin, and Mr.  Leo McNammee, International Cooperation Office at Dublin University, to discuss ways of cooperation between the two universities in a several areas, including student exchange. The faculty members exchanged and the creation of joint scientific degrees besides conducting joint scientific research.

This is in the presence of Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saud, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Shahira Samir, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Dr. Tamer El-Nady, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Engineering for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Refaat, Director of Special Programs at the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Sherot Al-Ahmadi, Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Tamer Emara, a professor at the Faculty of Medicine.

The two sides agreed to hold several other meetings to discuss various aspects of cooperation in preparation for signing a cooperation agreement between the two universities.
