Ain Shams University within the Times classification of universities most influential in the sustainable development goals

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Shawky El-Matiny, President of Ain Shams University, announced the results of the Times classification for the factors of the university's impact on the sustainable development goals of the United Nations 2020, which resulted in the university obtaining the center from 401 - 600; this year, the university witnessed more than one new impact factor compared to last year.

His Excellency affirmed the university’s keenness to implement a long-term strategy for the advancement and improvement of the university’s global ranking at the level of various international classifications.

For her part, Prof. Dr. Shahera Samir - Director of the Office of International Relations confirmed that the university participated this year in 6 of the classification criteria by adding two new factors for the previous year, they are:

  1. Public health factor, in which the university obtained the ranking 201-300
  2. The gender equality factor, in which the university obtained the ranking 201-300
  3. Justice and equality factor, in which the university obtained the ranking 201-300
  4. Sustainable development factor, in which the university obtained a ranking of 301-400
  5. Quality of Education factor, and the university has obtained a rating of 401-600
  6. Partnership factor for achieving the goals, and the university has obtained a rank of 401-600

Dr. Ahmed Al-Banna, Director of the University's International Classification Office confirmed that the university is working hard to participate in all international classifications to gain experience and work to develop all fields and that what comes today is only a result of the efforts made by the university’s administration in various scientific and research fields, and that According to the vision and strategy of the university, which is based on concerted efforts and the participation of all colleges and sectors of the university to raise the position of the university in various international classifications.
