The Minister of Higher Education inspects the work of the Central Coordination Office at Ain Shams University

Prof. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, accompanied by Prof. Ayman Ashour, Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for University Affairs, Prof. Mahmoud Al-Matini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Abdel-Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Mr. Atta, head of the education sector and supervisor of coordination work at the Ministry of Higher Education, an inspection tour of the Central Coordination Office of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research at its new headquarters at Ain Shams University, which is hosting it for the first time in its history.

Where His Excellency inspected all the offices and halls designated for the administration of the Central Coordination Office and followed the reception mechanisms for students to register their wishes electronically at the Coordination Office with an emphasis on the commitment of all preventive measures and precautionary measures to confront the Coronavirus.

The Minister of Higher Education also viewed the mechanism for registering students' requests electronically and verifying the speed and efficiency of the Internet and the site designated for registration.

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, reviewed all the equipment provided by the university to facilitate the work of the Central Coordination Office in order to facilitate the students and their families to complete the electronic registration processes quickly and with infinite accuracy, stressing the provision of all medical and logistical services to serve students and their families, and the appropriate coordination work.

The Minister of Higher Education also listened to a comprehensive explanation about the development and efficiency work carried out by the university in the university theater and its annexes, the covered gymnasium in the university city for students in Abbasia and sports stadiums, as well as the youth welfare departments.

Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud that the university prepared at all security levels in coordination with the Ministry of Interior to secure the office and health headquarters in cooperation with the General Administration of Medical Affairs and University Hospitals with the provision of additional numbers of medical teams to be on constant alert to deal with any emergency medical situation with an emphasis on the necessity a permanent commitment to follow all precautionary medical measures (from temperature measurement and others) towards all administrators and students who frequent the coordination office. The Minister of Higher Education listened to the views of a number of students during their presence at the headquarters of the Coordination Office.

The Minister of Higher Education and his accompanying delegation received a student delegation from the Ain Shams University Students Union, where his eminence was received with flowers. Abdel-Fattah Saud indicated that he directed the formation of volunteer teams from the students of the University Union to help students who are coming to university life during the period of coordination work.

It is worth noting that Ain Shams University has provided 13 laboratories to facilitate coordination work, alongside the Central Coordination Office, distributed in five faculties:

(Arts - Computers) at the main university campus in Abbasiya (extension of the Caliph al-Ma'mun), the College of Engineering in (Abdo Basha in Abbasiya), the Girls ’College (Heliopolis - Al-Mirghani) and the College of Agriculture in Shubra al-Khaimah to allow electronic registration of wishes through the electronic coordination website www.tansik.egypt.gov .eg

The university has also taken all necessary measures to complete the preparations for receiving high school students who wish to conduct aptitude tests in the Faculty of Specific Education (Art Education Division - Music Education Division).
