In the first days of the second phase of the coordination of admission to universities... A heavy turnout for electronic coordination laboratories

Since Tuesday, September 1, students of the second stage of university admission coordination for the academic year 2020/2021 have flocked to the electronic coordination laboratories at Ain Shams University amidst strict precautionary measures to prevent the emerging corona virus under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain University, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Abdul-Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, in order to ensure the safety and security of students, their parents and supervisors of coordination work.

As the electronic coordination laboratories at the Faculty of Computers and Information at Ain Shams University witnessed a massive turnout of students of the second stage of coordinating admission to universities for the academic year 2020/2021 amidst strict precautionary measures taken by the Faculty under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Nagwa Badr, Dean of the Faculty, to prevent crowding and crowding, and to achieve separation between students while registering their wishes, and to commit to wearing medical masks.

The Faculty of Computers and Information at the university had equipped 3 electronic coordination laboratories with a capacity of 100 devices, and provided guides in the laboratories to provide advice and guidance to students during the registration process.

The electronic coordination laboratories at the Faculty of Arts received students of the second stage to coordinate admission to universities, as it witnessed a heavy turnout on the first day of the second phase, which lasts for 5 days, as the Faculty equipped 3 computer laboratories, students were distributed to them with all precautionary and preventive measures adopted to confront the Corona virus from Measuring temperature, sterilizing students, and wearing masks when entering the halls, in order to preserve the safety of students, their parents and all employees, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mortada, Dean of the Faculty.

The Faculty had provided screens and leaflets that were distributed to students to facilitate them in the process of filling desires and to save time and effort.

In the Faculty of Engineering ... Prof. Dr. Diaa Abdel-Magid, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, inspected the faculty’s electronic coordination laboratories, which witnessed a strong turnout by students of the second stage of university admission coordination to register their wishes to join Egyptian universities.

He stressed during his tour that the faculty administration was keen to provide all necessary capabilities for prevention in coordination laboratories and to provide work teams to help students and parents to register their wishes, and places to wait for students and their parents to prevent students from crowding during the registration of their desires.

Dr. Muhammad Subuh, General Supervisor of the Faculty's Coordination Laboratories, indicated that two laboratories equipped with (100) computers connected to the Internet have been allocated, as well as a work team selected with experience in this field has been allocated to serve students and assist them in registering desires.

Mrs. Sayeda Taha Muhammad Al-Khouly, in charge of supervising the laboratories, indicated that the faculty coordination laboratories receive students from nine in the morning until four in the afternoon throughout the days of coordination, including holidays, as the second stage of coordination began today, Tuesday, September 1, and is scheduled to continue until September 5.

 Amidst an average turnout of second-stage students for university admission coordination, the electronic coordination laboratories of the Girls Faculty of Arts and Sciences received high school students to register their wishes.

Where Prof. Dr. Rukaya Shalabi, Dean of the Faculty of Girls, Ain Shams University, made an inspection tour of the electronic coordination laboratories in the faculty, stressing the commitment to precautionary measures, providing masks and disinfectants, and sterilizing the laboratories periodically, directing students and workers to adhere to social distancing.

The Girls' Faculty had designated two labs equipped with (40) computers connected to the Internet, as well as dedicated a team that was selected with expertise in this field to serve students and help them to meet their needs in registering desires, in addition to answering all inquiries and questions from students and questions. By students and their parents.

In the Faculty of Agriculture ... Prof. Dr. Hesham Hariri, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture for Education and Student Affairs, inspected the Faculty Admission Coordination Office to check on the precautionary measures in addition to checking on the applicant students and that work and laboratories are running regularly

Dr. Zainab Mahmoud, General Coordinator of Coordination at the Faculty of Agriculture, said that the number of applicants has increased dramatically since early morning, confirming that all those in charge of the electronic coordination laboratories in the Faculty will wait until the last student finishes registering his wishes, as the Faculty receives students from all areas surrounding the Faculty and some of them come from long distances.
