Earlier this morning, counselor Hani Abdel-Gaber, Governor of Beni Suef and Prof. Dr. Abdul Wahab Ezzat, President of Ain Shams University opened the activities of the comprehensive development convoy organized by the university. It will last for three days to serve the people of the village of Seds in the center of Baba and Nazla Hanna village in the center of Al-Fashn in Beni Suef.
The opening ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Nazmi Abdul Hamid, Vice President for Community Service and Environment Development, Major General Essam Al-Alkami, Secretary General of the Governorate, Mr. Samir Abdel Nasser, Secretary General of the University and Mr. Suhail Hamza, Assistant Secretary for Sector Affairs and a group of deans, vice-deans, directors of centers and faculty members of the university, Prof. Dr. Hala Khalaf Coordinator of the convoy and Director of the Center for Marketing Services University and Prof. Dr. Heba Shaheen Director of the Media Center of the University, Dr. Ashour Ameri, head of the adult education authority, and a number of administrators at the university, the undersecretaries of the ministries of Health, Education, Social solidarity and Agriculture, the head of the city center, head of the local unit of the village of Seds, director of general education and literacy in the governorate and director of secondary education.
The medical clinics were inspected at the Family Health Unit, which provides free screening in various specialties, as well as the measurement of pressure and sugar and the withdrawal of samples of hepatitis A, B and C viruses, which are carried out by doctors and specialists and nursing under the supervision of Faculties of Medicine and Dentistry and nursing and free disbursement of medicines for free.

The art activities were inspected from a gallery of plastic arts and printing on ceramics and clay, under the supervision of the professors of the Faculty of Specific Education. In partnership with the Creative Zone Center of the Applied Arts Association, the manufacture of jewelry and handicrafts.
Prof. Dr. Abdul Wahab Ezzat said that the university will give the province and the secondary school of Sides mural length of 70 meters and held training courses for teachers of art education at the school.
The tour also included the inspection of agricultural awareness campaigns, poultry raising and others in the agricultural sector, especially that the province of Beni Suef from the provinces, which is famous for the cultivation of medicinal plants.
The President of Ain Shams University also inspected the seminars for the development of love of loyalty, belonging and mental health, which was held for the students of Seds High School and Ahmed Shedid Primary Girls.
Literacy certificates were also handed out and immediate tests were conducted for applicants for certificates as well as training courses for employees of the General Authority for Adult Education under the supervision of the General Authority for Literacy and the Adult Education Center of the University.
The citizens praised the efforts made by Ain Shams University and expressed their gratitude by chanting, "Long live Egypt".
