During the Board of Education and Students: Three academic figures join the new formation of the Board

Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs, heads the regular committee of the Sector Board, in the presence and membership of Prof. Dr. Sherif Hammad, former Minister of Scientific Research, Professor and Former Dean of Ain Shams Engineering, and Prof. Ahmed Refaat, Former Dean of the Faculty of Sciences Hisham Azmy, Secretary-General of the Supreme Board for Culture, as new members of the board from the experts for a period of two years, in addition to the presence of the honorable permanent members of the board, by means of video conference.

During his opening speech, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud expressed the great happiness of the distinguished members joining the board for the next two years for the new formation of the board, appreciating their honorable accession to the board, which enriches the board with distinguished stature in various fields and distinguished experiences that add to the board and its efforts in developing education in its various aspects.

The new members also expressed their happiness at joining the council, stressing that they will spare no effort in providing all the expertise to support the educational, research and cultural process at the university.

The meeting focused on discussing ways for students to actively participate in the International University Conference in April 2021, which will be held under the title Fourth Generation Universities, as well as discussing increased interest in inter-programs at the first university level, as these programs are the hope for the scientific, cultural and economic renaissance of our dear Egypt.

During his speech, Prof. Dr. Hisham Azmy, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Culture, to the state’s clear interest in the current stage in empowering young people. A new award has been launched from the state’s awards, the "Young Creator Award", which aims to support and encourage creative youth under the age of eighteen to be a new incentive that demonstrates the state's support for young talents It benefits students of the first teams in universities.

His Excellency indicated that he welcomed the signing of an integrated protocol between Ain Shams University and the Supreme Council of Culture, which would be a basis for comprehensive cooperation in support of a comprehensive renaissance led by the university for the cultural and artistic activities of students, as the university believes in the importance of these activities in the formation of the integrated personality of students to achieve the greatest hope and he is a distinguished graduate who is useful for his country.

He also expressed his support and participation and the Supreme Council for Culture for the project to develop the central library at Ain Shams University, as well as referring to the planned active participation of the Supreme Council for Culture in the university’s cultural season and the annual international university conference, which will enrich the cultural content of these important events.
