Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mortada, Dean of the Faculty of Arts at Ain Shams University, said that the faculty received 4 thousand from the University Admissions Coordination Office for the current academic year 2020-2021, indicating that work has not stopped inside the college since the second term of last year, in light of the presence of the Corona Virus and early preparations were made for the new academic year, amid strict precautionary measures to prevent the epidemic.

Murtada added, during his interview with Al-Ahram Gate, that the past year witnessed exceptional circumstances imposed by the Corona virus pandemic, and the second-round examinations were held amid precautionary measures, pointing out that he is making daily field tours to check the progress of work inside the college, and there is keenness to apply all precautionary measures to preserve the health and safety of students from disease and epidemic.

The Dean of the Faculty revealed new programs in the faculty's credit hour system, stressing that failure to adhere to wearing a mask on the university campus may amount to a penalty for stopping entry to the university for a specific period of time as a result of non-compliance.
