Applications are open for the 2021 ServiceScape Short Story Award

The Graduate Studies and Research Sector at Ain Shams University, headed by Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, announced opening the door to apply for the ServiceScape Short Story Prize for the year 2021, with a prize of $ 1,000, for all short story writers, where all applicants must submit their original unpublished works from short fiction or realistic 5,000 words or less to consider according to the following conditions:

All entries submitted must be original and unpublished from short or non-fictional works of fiction, and up to 5,000 words in length, and the winner retains full rights to the piece he predecessor.

The winning short story is first published online in a permanent ServiceScape.com blog. The winner retains all copyright and other reprints and ownership of the story, and he or she reserves the right to publish his or her work elsewhere or anywhere without restrictions after the competition has ended, as long as the winning short story can still be published on the ServiceScape.com blog from to qualify as a participant in the competition.
