Ain Shams University announces the preparation of courses for nomination for the positions of university presidents and deans of faculties and institutes, at the University's Training and Development Center. This is within the framework of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Decision No. 293 of 01/27/2021 regarding the reconfiguration of the specialized committees to nominate university presidents and deans Faculties and institutes, their organization of work, procedures and conditions for nomination, criteria for preference, and according to the fifth paragraph of Article 4 of the above-mentioned decision, which states: The candidate should attend the training course held at one of the bodies specified by the Supreme Council of Universities to qualify for the position.

This comes on the decision of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research regarding the restructuring of the committees concerned with nominating university presidents and deans of faculties and institutes, organizing their work, procedures and conditions for candidacy and criteria for preference, which included the necessity of the candidate’s attendance at the training course held at one of the bodies specified by the Supreme Council of Universities to qualify for the position.

Whereas, one of the requirements for assuming the position of the dean of a faculty / institute at the university is to attend those courses that qualify for the position, which will be announced during this year due to the near vacancy of these positions, namely (Dean of Faculty of Law, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information, Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Childhood).

The university invited the faculty members wishing to apply for these courses to bring a recent case statement signed and sealed by the university and a copy of the national ID card and submit it to the university's Training and Development Center to take the necessary action. The university will prepare courses for nomination for these positions in the university’s Training and Development Center.

The first session will be held from 21-23 / 3/2021 for those who wish to assume the position of Dean of the Faculties (Law, Computers and Information Sciences, Graduate Studies for Childhood, you can apply via the following link:
